Rekha kisses Shabana Azmi as the two legendary actresses pose at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash; thus making it the best moment of the evening – PICS inside | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

The Diwali season has begun and the B-town Diwali parties have kick-started as well with Manish Malhotra‘s diwali bash. It was a starry affair with a long list of celebs attending the festivities with their best looks. The party was attended by Kajol, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma and a long list of celebs. But as always, Rekha was the best dressed and she proved to be an icon again as she stole the show in an orange banarasi saree.
This time around, the diva ditched her regular mogra gajra and opted for a ‘genda phool’ gajra which completely matched her orange saree. She smiled and posed for the paps and won hearts as she enquired if they’ve eaten their food. The actress later posed with the host, Manish Malhotra and then Aditya Roy Kapur also joined them.

The two actresses have starred together in two movies – ‘Raaste Pyaar Ke’ in 1982 and ‘Ek Hi Bhool’. Rekha is often known to share the most wonderful bonding with most of her female contemporaries in these times – be it Shabana, Hema Malini or Zeenat Aman.
