‘Red One’ trailer: Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans join hands blend Christmas and Halloween Mysteries in their new action flick | English Movie News – Times of India

The second trailer for the film Red One, dropped online just in time to remind fans around the world that Chrismas is around the corner. The holly-jolly holiday adventure starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans in the lead, sees the two going all out to save Santa Claus.
The film, directed by Jake Kasdan stars Johnson as Callum Drift, head of North Pole security, who recruits bounty hunter Jack O’Malley, played by Evans, to track down kidnapped Santa Claus, played by J.K.Simmons.
In this Christmas action movie, Jack is forced into the program when Zoe (Lucy Liu) and her soldiers attack him as a way to make him realize that he needs to partner with Callum to locate the abducted Christmas figure. In the intense trailer, Callum turns a toy car from a toy shop which is a secret transportation tool into an actual car.
Before too long, however, Christmas gets turned on its head in a truly surprising twist when Halloween imagery turns up, suggesting that the kidnapping of Santa may indeed have darker, more sinister origins than anyone would have expected. This Christmas-Halloween fusion provides an opportunity for much larger mythology, and indeed it might be that ‘Red One’ has been something of a treat to an even larger franchise of holiday worlds.
‘Red One’ promises a great combination of comedy, action, and holiday magic that in its storytelling should give an exhilarating experience to the audience.
