Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan are set to make their debut together in the much-anticipated film ‘King‘. Slated to begin production in January 2025, the movie is targeting a 2026 release. This highly anticipated family collaboration will face off against Love And War, starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, also scheduled for a March 2026 release. The clash promises to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year!
According to a report in Pinkvilla, King is set to release for Eid 2026.SRK and director Siddharth Anand are aiming for this festive time, as it’s been a while since Khan had a film release during Eid. The schedule for the movie lines up with the planned Eid 2026 date.

The report also shared details about the film’s shoot: King will start filming in Mumbai in January, followed by an extensive schedule in Europe. The team has scouted several new European locations to enhance the film’s scale. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, alongside Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, and Abhishek Bachchan.

The report added that the goal is to film the action scenes both on location and on studio sets to create a realistic storytelling experience. The team hopes to introduce a fresh style of action with Shah Rukh Khan in King, and the superstar is eager to explore this new approach.
Shah Rukh Khan had a busy 2023, with three major releases in quick succession: Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki.
