Mumbai: A panoramic shot of marathon runners along the Mumbai Coastal Road won TOI photographer Sanjay Hadkar the first prize at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 Philanthropy Awards held at Hotel Trident on Wednesday. “This was the first time that marathoners were running along the Coastal Road, which is a new landmark in Mumbai’s infrastructure. The pre-dawn chill of January posed a challenge. I looked for a vantage point to capture this milestone, and was fortunate to find a spot that gave me a symmetrical shot,” said Hadkar.
