Ranveer Singh and wife Deepika Padukone are set to welcome their first child any time now! A few months back, doting husband Ranveer shared his feelings about watching Deepika star in her latest film, Kalki 2898 AD. The couple attended a screening of the film together, and later, Deepika posted a video of them enjoying the movie at the theater.

The video starts as Ranveer says, “It’s really, like, trippy to see a movie like this where her character is pregnant, and like she’s pregnant, and it’s like (makes sounds) what’s happening.” In the clip, Deepika said, “I don’t know what to feel.

I’m just a bit overwhelmed with the reactions.”

Yesterday, the would be parents arrived at the hospital for the birth of their first child. On Friday, the parents to be were spotted visiting Mumbai’s famous Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings ahead of the birth of their first child.
The couple, who were dressed in their traditional best, were accompanied by their families. Ranveer and Deepika were seen walking to the temple bare feet as a mark of reverence at the temple.

Ranveer was seen being protective of his pregnant wife and holding her hand as he led her to the temple. Deepika, ricking the pregnancy glow, stunned in a green silk saree, while Ranveer opted for a subtle kurta.
The couple was seen greeting fellow devotees as they made their way to the temple, with the help of police and bodyguards, clearing the way for them to enter.
In a video that has quickly gone viral, the soon-to-be parents can be seen holding hands and walking ahead of their parents, who also accompanied them to the temple.
Fans were quick to shower the couple with love and blessings on social media.
Early in the day, it was reported that DP and Ranveer also visited Mount Mary Church in Bandra to seek blessings ahead of their baby’s birth.

The couple’s visit to holy places comes just days after speculation about their baby’s impending birth began to spread. In their statement, DP and Ranveer announced that they were expecting the baby to arrive in September, but did not reveal a date. Rumours doing the rounds now claim that the baby is expected to arrive in the next few days.
Ranveer, who was busy with his film commitments, also flew back to the city, to be by his wife’s side as she awaited the arrival of the baby. Buzz is that the actor has cleared up his schedule to make sure he is by Deepika’s side when the baby is born.
On the work front, the couple will be back in the spotlight when their film ‘Singham Again’ hits theatres in November.
