Congratulations are in order for Tanuj Virwani and his wife Tanya who welcomed a baby girl today.
Virwani shared the happy news, and also informed fans that both mother and daughter are doing well after a normal delivery, Hindustan Times reported. He recounted the excitement of the day, mentioning how they woke up at 4 am when Tanya’s water broke, and they rushed to the hospital.
The 37-year-old actor who married Tanya Jacob in December last year, shared his initial nervousness about the early arrival of their baby girl, as the birth happened 4-5 days before the due date.Reflecting on the experience, he described it as the “most incredible and surreal feeling in the world.” While he had heard many stories about pregnancy and deliveries from friends and family, Virwani noted that actually living through it was an unexplainable and overwhelming experience.
He shared that his parents, Rati Agnihotri and Anil Virwani, are with him at the hospital. “They just can’t believe they have become grandparents. It’s an amazing feeling,” Virwani expressed. The actor also stated that they haven’t yet decided on their baby girl’s name, but will finalize it in the next couple of days.
Furthermore, the actor added that as everything is normal, they will return home this week itself. “She would be discharged in a maximum of three days. It is just a precautionary measure to have both of them here. We will be back home soon,” he said.
