Pune: The Savitribai Phule Pune University has started the admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.Students can submit online applications till May 15 and the entrance examinations will be conducted between June 1 and 13 at 16 centres across the state, as announced by the university.Every year, admissions are conducted through an online entrance system across four faculties — science and technology, commerce and management, humanities and interdisciplinary studies. A total of 107 courses are offered under these faculties.Students can register for the entrance exams on the university website. Detailed information regarding exam rules, application process, eligibility criteria and course details is available on the portal.The exam will follow a negative marking system, with one-fourth marks deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be two hours. Hall tickets will be made available to students five days before the exam.The question paper will carry 100 marks, including 20 marks for general knowledge and 80 marks for subject-specific questions. All questions will be included in a single paper.
