Rohit Shetty makes final tweaks to the ‘Singham Again’ climax ahead of the Diwali release – Times of India

The filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated film ‘Singham Again‘, is reportedly ‘adding a folk-based twist’ to the climax of the Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar starrer.
As per the latest report by Midday, Rohit Shetty is filming additional scenes at the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle while post-production for the Diwali release is in progress. The report revealed that Shetty is working with the secondary cast to incorporate last-minute additions to the climax, which features a grand, theatrical scene involving multiple characters dressed as rakshasas (demons), introducing a folk-inspired twist to the film.
The report stated that the team had constructed a large stage where Rohit Shetty is set to shoot an intricate performance that will serve as the centerpiece of the film’s climax. Ajay Devgn, who portrays Bajirao Singham, is expected to join the shoot in the coming days. Given the need for a massive crowd, the production team incorporated onlookers into the scene. Filming is expected to continue until September 11.
‘Singham Again’ is the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). The film features Ajay Devgn in the lead, alongside Akshay Kumar, who previously starred in Shetty’s 2021 release Sooryavanshi, and Ranveer Singh, reprising his role from the 2018 film Simmba.
The star-studded cast also includes Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, with supporting roles played by Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, Siddhartha Jadhav, and Ashutosh Rana.
