Raaj Shaandilyaa, who is currently promoting his upcoming film, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video‘, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, recently confirmed that he is working on something with Akshay Kumar.
In an interview with PInkvilla, the director mentioned that he was in talks with Akshay about ‘Hera Pheri 3’, but the project didn’t pan out, leading him to focus on ‘Dream Girl 2‘. While he didn’t grasp the plot of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ at the time, he has since been working on a new script for Akshay Kumar.Raaj revealed that this new project has a similar vibe to the Hera Pheri franchise and plans to present it to Kumar soon.

He noted that the script is grounded and relatable, asserting that successful comedy hinges on creating characters that resonate with the audience and spark genuine laughter.
Meanwhile, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, promises to be a family entertainer with a stellar cast featuring Vijay Raaz, Malaika Sherawat, and Tiku Talsania. Scheduled for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024, it’s one to watch for.
