Mumbai: Mhada on Thursday issued a letter of acceptance to a consortium of builders for the cluster development of Abhyuday Nagar, Kalachowkie. Under the scheme, residents occupying flats measuring 210 sq. ft carpet area will receive free homes measuring 641 sq. ft carpet area.Mhada accepted the bid submitted by the consortium of MGN Agro Properties, NNP Buildcon and Onest Shelters.Abhyuday Nagar colony is spread across 1,33,593 sq. m (33 acres) comprising 48 buildings with 3,410 tenements of approximately 210 sq. ft each. This includes 3,335 residential units and 75 non-residential premises. This redevelopment was entrusted to Mhada’s Mumbai board, following which it was decided to implement the project under the Construction & Development (C&D) model.
