After an extremely low start, the film seems to have finally found its level, as its collections stayed steady on Tuesday, despite being Ganpati Visarjan Day in most parts of the country.
The film opened to Rs 1.15 crore on Friday and on the back of strong word of mouth, the film picked up on the weekend to collect Rs 1.95 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.15 crore on Sunday. But the film crashed on Monday by nearly 63% to collect Rs 80 lakh. But on Tuesday which was the last of the Ganpati festival, and usually a time for families and friends to get together , the film showed resilience and collected Rs 75 lakh as per early estimates by Sacnilk, thus taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 6.81 crore. By far, this would be Kareena’s lowest performing film in the longest time .
Kareena’s next is Rohit Shetty- Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again which is slated to release on Diwali. It would be clashing with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Triptii Dimri’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Though, now there are murmurs about Singham delaying its release by 2 weeks and coming in November now.
