“Go To High Court”: No Supreme Court Relief For Hemant Soren Over Summons

The Supreme Court has refused to hear Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s petition against a summons by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case. Mr Soren – who last month confronted the central agency demanding it withdraw the summons – was directed to the Jharkhand High Court. The Chief Minister has been summoned by the agency on September 23.
