Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office collection Day 5: Kartik Aaryan starrer sees big drop in collections on Tuesday | – Times of India

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, starring Kartik Aaryan, has shown signs of slowing down at the box office on Day 5.
Following a record-breaking start with a Rs 124 crore India net collection over the first four days, the film saw collections take a dip on Tuesday, earning roughly Rs 13 crore. The initial momentum from a strong Rs 35.5 crore opening day and a weekend that pushed the film past Rs 100 crore had set high expectations, but Tuesday’s 27.78% drop allowed ‘Singham Again‘ to take a slight lead.
On Monday, both films performed neck and neck, with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ drawing around Rs 17.8 crore and matching ‘Singham Again’ numbers. However, Tuesday saw Rohit Shetty’s cop actioner starring Ajay Devgn edge ahead, pulling in Rs 13.5 crore.

The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ total now stands at an estimated Rs 137 crore, while ‘Singham Again’ crossed the Rs 150 crore mark with an estimated Rs 153.25 crore total.

Following the success of the film, Kartik, who is currently in Varanasi, participated in Ganga Aarti. Sharing a video of himself, the actor wrote, “Har Har Ganga”. This marks the third successful horror-comedy release of 2024, joining the ranks of ‘Munjya’ and ‘Stree 2’, setting a promising trend for more films in this genre in the future.
The Diwali box office clash between ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and ‘Singham Again’ has captivated audiences, and both films combined to create history with a record-breaking Rs 200 crore weekend—a first for a box office clash. With both movies showing strong weekday trends, the rivalry is expected to intensify over the coming weeks as they continue their festive season box office battle.
