Ananya Panday on Tuesday, dropped a new poster of her much-awaited cyber-thriller ‘CTRL‘, which also stars Vihaan Samat.
The poster features Ananya’s character Nella Awasthi staring at the screen of a laptop, with worry and fear written all over her face, hinting at all the tension and suspense this film promises to deliver. “Now loading: CTRL. Trailer out tomorrow!,” read the caption.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the film explores the intricacies of life in cyberspace and the price one pays for oversharing in the data-ruled world.The film which will release online, will drop its trailer on Wednesday, 25th September.
Coming to the plot, the film will revolve around popular internet couple Nella Awasthi and Joe Mascarenhas, who have been gaining a vast viewership by sharing their personal lives online. Everything dramatically changes when they go through a breakup. This movie describes the themes of privacy, control, and the dark side of social media, challenging the audience to consider how much of their personal life they will share on these platforms and what ensues from it.
‘CTRL’ is set to release on OTT on October 4. This film is going to be an exciting watch with its topical storyline and talented cast, focusing all the darker aspects of life online.
