Punjabi singer turned global music icon Diljit Dosanjh is keeping his fans entertained with his tour Dil-Luminati. After a record-breaking performance in different cities around the world, Dijit is all set to put the stage on fire in India’s capital Delhi in October. The craze of his concert is on another level among the Delhi fans. The pre-sale reached sky-high and the resale of the concert ticket made headlines as well.Amid all this, Delhi Police made sure to give a fair warning to Diljit fans to stay away from unverified links and beware of online ticket fraud. They fulfilled their responsibility with a touch of humour, as their warning post has a Diljit connection.
Taking to their official handle, Delhi Police posted a clip that starts with a text in the background of the crowd cheering at a concert. This text will remind you of Diljit’s song, ‘Born To Shine,’ from his famous album ‘G.O.A.T.’ The text reads – “Gana sunne ke chakkar me ticket ke liye galat link par paise puse dekar apna band na bajwa lena (Don’t fall for fake ticket links and end up getting scammed; always verify first).”
Not just this, the caption of the post also had the right mix of witt and warning. It reads – “Paise Puse Baare Soche Duniya, Alert Rehkar Online Fraud Se Bache Duniya!”

This quirky post of the Delhi Police regarding the online scam ahead of Diljit’s concert didn’t go unnoticed. Impressed by the post, one of the netizens wrote “Delhi Police is dope,” while another fan commented – “DP sabse aage.” Further, “Delhi Police got no chill,” read another comment, while a netizen mentioned that the social media manager of the DP’s page deserves a raise after this post.
On the one hand, where the post of Delhi Police gave the right message with a touch of humour, on the other hand, it also hinted at the fans’ frenzy for Diljit’s upcoming concert. The fans simply can’t contain their excitement to catch Diljit live in action in the heart of India.
