Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple declares record revenue of Rs 182cr | Mumbai News – The Times of India

MUMBAI: Siddhivinayak temple, Prabhadevi, has declared record revenue of Rs 182 crore for FY 2025-26. This amount is a 35% increase over Rs 133 crore earned during the previous financial year 2024-25. The trust had been expecting to amass Rs 155 crore, so the additional bounty is a godsend. Treasurer Acharya Pawan Kumar Tripathi said, “The number of followers has grown as have the offerings. People have faith that every rupee donated to Siddhivinayak will be used for social welfare.”However the trust did not provide a break-up of revenue segments, for instance, whether the rising prices of gold and silver had translated into greater wealth, or the quantum of puja bookings and cash donations. The Siddhivinayak trust met under chairman Sada Sarvankar on March 28 to present its annual report for 2025-26 and its budget for the new financial year 2026-27.The trust in FY 2026-27will allot Rs 36 crore towards financial assistance to poor patients, Rs 24 crore for basic amenities in govt hospitals, Rs 2.6 crore through its dialysis centre and Rs 1 crore towards study scholarships for children of farming families whose breadwinner has committed suicide. The govt has approved Siddhivinayak’s grant of Rs 10,000 as fixed deposit to each girl child born in civic hospitals on March 8 which is Women’s Day. That sum amounts to Rs 2 crore.
