Bollywood actress Ananya Panday had a heartwarming ‘dream come true’ moment this Diwali season when she discovered her image on a packet of firecrackers.
In a video shared by her cousin Alanna Panday, Ananya is seen visibly shocked and excited as she is presented with a box of sparklers bearing her face. “I’m on the fuljhadi (packet)?” she asks and proclaims, “That’s my dream!”
While the family had a hearty laugh over the actress’ honest reaction, Ananya was seen asking her cousin, “Was that actually on it, or did you all make it?”
She then goes on to tell her mother, “Mom! I’m on the fuljhadi packet!”
Expressing her delight, Ananya also shared a photo of the same on her Instagram handle and said, “I’m so happy. That’s my dream.”
The actress’s spontaneous reaction has resonated with her followers, many of who were surprised to see her “cute” and honest reaction to the packet. The video, which quickly went viral, shows Ananya’s pure excitement and has since won over social media, with fans expressing how endearing it was to see her react so joyfully to this unexpected Diwali surprise.
The actress who was most recently seen in ‘CTRL’, has a long list of upcoming films, including, ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair‘, where she will star opposite Akshay Kumar.
Ananya, whose recent work in Bollywood has seen her rise in popularity, now adds this quirky honour to her list of memorable achievements, becoming part of a Diwali staple in households across India.
