Palghar: A Gujarat resident, Pushpa Lad (52), was killed and her 16 family members injured after a trailer hit their mini-bus on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad NH in Dahanu on Friday. The trailer driver fled. The family was going to Mumbai airport. A tyre of the mini-bus burst, which made it slow down, and the trailer driver couldn’t stop in time. —Vishal Rajemahadik
