Will Smith congratulates ‘mama and papa’ Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on birth of their daughter | – Times of India

Hollywood star Will Smith has joined the chorus of well-wishers celebrating the birth of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh‘s baby girl.
The actor, who has often been seen partying with Ranveer while in Mumbai city, extended his best wishes to the new parents on the birth of their baby. Smith commented, “Congratulations mama & papa!” on the couple’s social media post announcing the joyous news.

Deepika and Ranveer, who welcomed their daughter on September 8, 2024, shared a picture on their handles with words that read, “Welcome baby girl! 8.09.2024.”

Previously, Deepika’s former co-star Vin Diesel also extended his best wishes to the new mom when she posted a series of pictures from her maternity shoot.
Deepika is still in hospital with her baby. Mother Ujala Padukone was spotted heading to the hospital on Wednesday to visit her daughter and first grandchild. The Ambani family was also seen stopping by the hospital to pay the mommy and baby a visit.

On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer will soon reunite on-screen in the film ‘Singham Again‘ that will see the two play cops in Rohit Shetty‘s latest instalment in his cop franchise. The film is slated to hit the big screen in November..
