Anushka Sharma once humorously recalled how Aamir Khan had the people of Rajasthan remove their clothes for a scene in PK. She added a lighthearted touch to the film’s unusual costume process, reflecting on the challenges of filming the unique scenes.
During a conversation on Extraaa Storiez on Sony Max, Anushka shared a funny anecdote about Aamir’s dedication to his role in PK. She explained that, not only did Aamir strip down for the film, but he also asked people on the streets of Rajasthan to remove their clothes to match the authenticity of his character’s look.
Aamir explained that for his role in PK, he chose not to wear any new clothes designed specifically for the character. Instead, he wanted to wear clothing that belonged to the people around him. During the costume preparations, Aamir rejected all the designs created for him, instructing the team not to make anything new, as he was determined to keep his character as authentic as possible.Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood took an unconventional approach to his role in PK by rejecting new costumes and opting for clothes worn by real people. He even instructed his team to take a shirt off a man on the street, regardless of fit, to create a more authentic look for his character.
Rajkumar Hirani shared a funny story about the costume process for PK. He mentioned that the costume designers traveled to Rajasthan, where they would find shirts they liked and ask the locals to give them up in exchange for money or another shirt. This approach helped them create an authentic look for Aamir Khan’s character.
