He specifically mentions Baba Siddique’s name for choice. This moment captures the respect Bollywood’s Bhaijaan held for Siddique and underscores their friendship.
The 37-second video clip features Khan addressing the media with a passionate plea: “Vote for the best people in your constituency.” He emphasizes that for him, those individuals are Siddique and Priya Dutt, who is also a prominent political figure, and Bollywood is the sister of actor Sanjay Dutt.
The news of Siddique’s death prompted immediate reactions from various celebrities and political figures. Salman Khan halted filming for his show ‘Bigg Boss 18‘ to rush to the hospital upon hearing about his friend’s assassination. Alongside him, Sanjay Dutt was among the first to arrive at Lilavati Hospital. Other notable personalities, such as Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, also paid their respects.
Riteish Deshmukh expressed his sorrow on social media, stating: “Extremely saddened and shocked beyond words to learn about the tragic demise of Shri #BabaSiddique ji. My heart goes out to @zeeshan_iyc and the entire family. May God give them strength to brave this difficult time. The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be brought to justice.”
