Valentine’s day 2022 is celebrated in all over the world. It is celebrated at 14 feb. people who believes in love they celebrate by meeting his or her boyfriend or girlfriend.

Since this is western culture people from eastern countries tries to imitate this tradition by blindly.this is called as day of love and chocolate day. on this occasion people celebrate valentine’s day and present valentine’s day cards . it is also called day promise day in the world.

History of valentine

It is believed that the Valentine feast, which was celebrated by the Catholic Church in 496 AD,middle ages is its origin. This was done to replace the brutal Pagan festival Lupercalia, which was later overshadowed. This festival, which was held at the start of spring, paid tribute to Faunus, the Roman God of Agriculture. The sacrifice of a goat or a dog was meant to symbolize fertility and purity. The goat’s hide would be cut into strips and dipped in the blood of the sacrificed animal. It would then be painted on the crops and women.

Although Valentine’s Day has many Valentines, historians believe that Valentine’s Day was founded by emperor claudius ii Gothicus, an emperor who martyred a priest in around 270CE. There are many stories about St Valentines. Some say one married couples secretly to keep men from going to war. Others heal the blind and another wrote a note to his daughter titled ‘Your Valentine’. It is possible that they could even be the same person.
