‘Titanic’ couple Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet reunite at special screening of Lee; fans REACT | – Times of India

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, who won hearts playing the title roles of Jack and Rose in the film Titanic, reunited this week to watch Kate’s new film, Lee.
The star couple has always stayed close with each other over the years and will continue to support each other in their career. The event in Los Angeles witnessed the sharing of a warm moment between the two, with their pictures flying on X (previously known as Twitter).

Leonardo introduced Kate at the screening, which took place via a video shared by a fan account. He continued, “Tonight, I hope everyone feels a film that not only makes clear the complexities of Lee’s life but also the emotional weight of telling painful truths. Kate, my dear friend, your work in this film has been nothing short of transformative.” He went on to say, commending her: “I’m always in awe of your strength, integrity, talent, and the passion you bring to every project. Without further ado, one of the great talents of our generation, the one and only Kate Winslet.”

In the video, it was seen how warmly Kate embraced Leonardo. The audience sang and cheered at her. Fans reacted with love and nostalgia by commenting on their enduring bond. As one fan wrote, “They did this for me!” Then, another posted this saying: “Showing up for each other since ’97.”
Lee, in which Kate plays WW II photojournalist Lee Miller, also stars Marion Cotillard, Andrea Riseborough, Andy Samberg, Noémie Merlant, and Josh O’Connor. Ellen Kuras directed the film based on the 1985 biography The Lives of Lee Miller by Antony Penrose. Kate and Leonardo, who once shared a bill playing a doomed couple in Revolutionary Road, remain a fan-favourite tandem on and off screen.
