Every new day brings a new face to the entertainment industry. This new face can be from an already established filmy family or someone who is trying to make a name for themselves in the industry. The best part is that every time a new face comes, it brings in a promise of something different, fresh, and unique. This is exactly what Dhaval Thakur aims for with his debut project ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyar.’
Though Dhaval Thakur is new to the entertainment industry, he is familiar with certain norms of the acting world, thanks to his sister Mrunal Thakur. He looks up to her and she has been a pillar of support as she has carved her niche and raised the bar.
Talking about Mrunal and her impact on his learning curve, Dhaval Thakur said, “Every actor has their process and I always discuss with my sister to get to know her take on the craft. Discussing each other’s processes always teaches me something new. Whenever we have that conversation, there’s something to learn every time.”
“Discussing what cinema we are watching, what books are we reading currently, and what music are we listening to. I think all these aspects help to give a better performance and help to develop a better character each time. And what I’ve learned from her, the most important thing is to trust your process. I think that is one of the most important things for an actor,” he added.
‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’
‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar,’ is a gripping new revenge saga set against the backdrop of caste and class struggles. This tale of love, betrayal, and revenge will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The show weaves a powerful narrative, where romance turns into vengeance, and betrayal drives the quest for redemption. Directed by Shraddha Pasi Jairath, this unusual tale of chase and love stars promising newcomers like Dhaval Thakur and Sanchita Basu alongside popular actors like Aniruddha Dave and Kapil Kanpuriya in pivotal roles.
It will stream from 22nd November 2024 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
