Actor-model Rahul Dev, who attended St. Columba’s School in New Delhi with Shah Rukh Khan, in an old interview fondly reminisced about their school days and SRK’s early accomplishments.
During his conversation with Connect FM Canada, actor and former model Rahul Dev reminisced about his school days with Shah Rukh Khan in New Delhi. Dev revealed that they had known each other since their time at St.Columba’s School, where they played on the same cricket team SRK as the wicket-keeper and Rahul as the fast bowler.
Dev shared that Shah Rukh was his senior and recalled the year when SRK earned the prestigious Sword of Honour, an award given to the best all-round student. Dev also highlighted Shah Rukh’s exceptional talent in sports, excelling in football, hockey, cricket, and nearly every game during their school days.
Rahul Dev also expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, calling him exceptional. “I’m not surprised that SRK has become a superstar. There won’t be another Shah Rukh Khan in the next 1000 years,” he remarked. Dev also praised SRK for the tremendous success of ‘Jawan‘, stating that it was “long overdue.”
In addition to Rahul Dev, singer Palash Sen also attended St. Columba’s School with Shah Rukh Khan. Palash recalled that during their school days and admitted that he was surprised SRK chose acting as a career.
The singer believed Shah Rukh would pursue something even greater than movies due to his intelligence. Palash recalled that SRK excelled in cricket, hockey, dramatics, and debating, showcasing his diverse talents. He also noted that SRK was an impressive orator, further highlighting his exceptional abilities during their school years.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film, reportedly titled ‘King.’ Recently, a leading portal reported that SRK, Siddharth, and Sujoy have roped in Abhishek Bachchan to play the antagonist in the film.
