Throwback: When Kriti Sanon opened up about relatives’ unfair comparisons between her and Nupur Sanon | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Actress Kriti Sanon, in an old interiew, shared her thoughts on how relatives sometimes treat her and her sister, Nupur Sanon, differently.

While talking to News18, Kriti explained that despite their close bond, she has often noticed how others compare them and this has frustrated her. While Kriti has always had a strong and supportive relationship with Nupur, she revealed that when she entered the film industry, Nupur was much younger and not in Mumbai. It was during this time that she started noticing how their relatives would treat them differently, especially on birthdays, where they would make separate wishes for each of them.
Kriti admitted that this behavior would often anger her, describing it as “immature.” She also pointed out that Nupur, despite being younger, handled the situation with a lot of maturity. Kriti praised Nupur for her strength, saying that even if something upset her sister, she never let it show.

While Nupur remains unaffected by the comparisons, Kriti has been more sensitive to it, as she felt her younger sister was being treated unfairly. However, Kriti emphasized that these differences have never impacted their relationship and that the two continue to share a strong, supportive bond.

On the professional front, Kriti Sanon was recently seen in Do Patti alongside Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh. The romantic thriller involves a complex mystery about twins with contrasting personalities, adding another exciting chapter to Kriti’s career. Meanwhile, Nupur is set to appear in the film Noorani Chehra, which will further expand her acting portfolio.
