OG ‘Desi Girl’ Priyanka Chopra is back in India. She was spotted at the Mumbai airport, as she made an effortlessly stylish arrival in her homeland. When the news of her arrival came out, fans started speculating the reason behind her visit. While few believe she is here for her next Bollywood project, some think she is in India to promote her upcoming production ‘Paani,’ and a few others believe the actress has flown down for her brother’s wedding. However, none of these reasons is true. Though Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in India for business, it is not related to a movie.
According to Hindustan Times, a source close to the actor has confirmed, “There has been a lot of buzz around the reason behind Priyanka’s travel to India. But she is not coming to India for any film project, or to announce her next Bollywood project, which is being assumed by many. In fact, there is no filmy connection to her visit this time.”
The insider has mentioned that Priyanka has come down for a business event, which will be held in Mumbai on October 18, 2024.
Priyanka’s visit to India always excites her fans. When spotted at the airport, she was warmly greeted by the paparazzi, and she reciprocated their love with a ‘namaste.’ She also impressed everyone with her chic and casual style. The comfortable sweatshirt and pajamas gave perfect travel fashion goals. And the touch of her million-dollar smile was the icing on the cake.
Now coming to Priyanka’s cinematic project, the shoot of the second season of ‘Citadel,’ has kept the actress occupied. Then there is Frank E. Flowers’ ‘The Bluff,’ a 19th-century Caribbean-set drama that follows the compelling story of a former female pirate, which Priyanka will be headlining. Last but not least, PeeCee also has ‘Heads of State,’ in the pipeline. It is an action-packed thriller, in which Priyanka will share the screen space with Hollywood heavyweights John Cena and Idris Elba.
