‘Singham Again’ to stream on OTT: Ajay Devgn’s action film expected to premiere on THIS date | Hindi Movie News – Times of India


The highly anticipated action blockbuster ‘Singham Again‘, featuring Ajay Devgn and directed by Rohit Shetty, is set to premiere on a popular OTT platform soon. After its successful theatrical release on November 1, 2024, the film grossed an impressive ₹360.75 crore at the box office. Viewers who missed it in theaters will soon have the opportunity to enjoy this latest installment of Rohit Shetty‘s Cop Universe from home.
In ‘Singham Again’, Ajay Devgn returns as DCP Bajirao Singham, with Kareena Kapoor Khan playing his wife, Avni Kamat. Ranveer Singh is back as ACP Sangram ‘Simmba’ Bhalerao, and Akshay Kumar plays DCP Veer Sooryavanshi. Deepika Padukone joins the cast as SP Shakti Shetty, while Tiger Shroff appears as ACP Satya. Arjun Kapoor plays the villain, Danger Lanka, and Jackie Shroff takes on the role of Omar Hafeez. Salman Khan makes a special cameo as his character from Dabangg. The cast also includes Dayanand Shetty, Shweta Tiwari, Siddhartha Jadhav, and Ravi Kishan, making this film an exciting action-packed experience.
In the film, a story from the Ramayana is reimagined, featuring Kareena Kapoor’s character as Sita, who is kidnapped. Ajay portrays DCP Bajirao Singham, who brings together heroes from Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe to rescue her in an epic battle of good versus evil. This film marks Shetty’s first attempt as a writer, blending mythology with thrilling action. As the fifth installment in Shetty’s Cop Universe, it serves as a direct sequel to ‘Singham Returns’ and includes characters inspired by the Ramayana, with Ajay as Ram and Kareena as Sita.
Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again’ will soon be available for streaming on Prime Video starting December 27, 2024, although official confirmation is still pending. The film, produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Devgn Films, had a successful theatrical release on November 1, 2024.
