The Rohit Shetty directorial Singham Again continued its impressive run at the box office on its second Friday, collecting around Rs 8 crore nett, a slight 10 percent drop from the previous day. This drop is attributed mainly to a decrease in collections in Maharashtra, impacting key areas like the Mumbai circuit.
Though the Friday hold is strong due to the holiday week, Singham Again is not expected to show large jumps in collections over the weekend, unlike past holiday-weekend films like Stree 2 or Kalki. However, growth is still anticipated on Saturday.
Early predictions from Sacnilk estimate that Saturday’s earnings may reach Rs 8.73 crore, with late-night shows possibly adding another Rs 2 crore, pushing it into double digits for the second weekend. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, among others.

The film’s total box office collection currently stands at Rs 189.73 crore and is expected to cross the Rs 200 crore mark in the domestic market by Sunday. Ajay Devgn, who reprises his iconic role as police officer Bajirao Singham, expressed gratitude for the audience’s support and appreciation for his character, first introduced in 2011’s Singham and then again in 2014’s Singham Returns.
Released on Diwali, Singham Again faced competition from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, which also performed well at the box office. Singham Again is the third installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe Singham, which also includes Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi.
