Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’, Varun Dhawan’s ‘Bhediya’, Sharvari starrer ‘Munjya’ set to re-release in theatres ahead of Halloween – deets inside | Hindi Movie News – Times of India


It looks like theatres will have to survive at the moment through re-release of movies. We’ve seen the trend of good movies re-releasing for the last few months. One saw many movies like ‘Rocktstar’, ‘Veer Zaara’, ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ among others re-releasing. The new releases – ‘Jigra’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ are going quite dull and amidst that, ahead of Halloween, some popular horror/horror comedy movies are set to re-release.
The social media handle of PVR Cinemas announced the slate of movies that are re-releasing ahead of Halloween. The caption of this post said, “Get ready for a hauntingly good time as the Halloween Marathon comes to your city! Delhi, Noida, Pune, Mumbai, Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad – book your tickets for the epic horror movie marathon from October 25-27 at PVR INOX.” Thus this is just for this weekend.
This list includes, ‘Stree 2‘ obviously, which broke all records and became the highest grossing Hindi movie ever. The Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor movie got immense love and fans would surely flock to the theatres again to see it.
Apart from ‘Stree 2’, ‘Munjya is also going to re-release. This Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh starrer was a sleeper hit and nobody expected the film to make such a mark. But it was immensely loved. Meanwhile, another film of this horror comedy universe, ‘Bhediya‘ starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon is also re-releasing.
Apart from these Hindi movies, Hollywood films The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, It, and It Chapter Two will also be available to watch in theaters.
