Shalini Passi reveals she wishes to do a dramatic part in a Partition-era film, similar to Sunny Deol’s Gadar | – Times of India

Shalini Passi, known for her appearance in Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, recently revealed that her dream role would be a dramatic character in a Partition-era film, akin to Sunny Deol‘s role in Gadar. She expressed a desire to explore intense and emotional performances in such a historical context.
In an interview with Entertainment Live, Shalini shared that her dream acting role would be a dramatic character in a Partition-era film, similar to Sunny Deol’s roles in Gadar and Gadar 2. She expressed her desire to play an emotionally charged part in such a historical narrative.

She also shared that she currently has no specific plans to pursue acting, highlighting the commitment and learning needed for an acting career. She acknowledged the dedication required to step into this field, making it clear that she is focused on other endeavors for now.

Shalini reflected on her aspirations in acting, sharing that while she has received some offers, her dream role would be in a Partition-era film, similar to a classic black-and-white movie. She expressed that if such an opportunity arose, she would dedicate herself to learning and preparing for the role.

When asked about traditional romantic roles, Shalini Passi shared that she’s not drawn to them. Instead, she’s captivated by historical eras, particularly the World Wars and the 1940s-1950s. She expressed a long-held “fantasy” about India’s freedom movement, a fascination that began in her childhood and still inspires her.

Shalini Passi shared that she envisions portraying a character or artist from the historical era, believing that everything will unfold “in its own time.”
She brought a fresh dynamic to Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives as she joined the Delhi cast, alongside Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of Ranbir Kapoor, and Kalyani Chawla.
