Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal gets postponed: Reports | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Sanjay Leela Bhanasli’s next film ‘Love & War’ has been creating quite a buzz ever since it was officially announced in early 2024. The movie which will mark Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt‘s reunion with the director, has now reportedly been postponed. Also starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead, the movie was originally slated for a Christmas 2025 release. However, a press release now confirms that the film will now hit theatres on March 20, 2026.
The makers officially announced in January 2024 in an Instagram post that they were eyeing a Christmas release this year. “See You At The Movies Christmas 2025,” read the Instagram post. However, it now seems that the film will now book 2026 for its release.
This update comes after reports alleged that Shah Rukh Khan has also chosen to delay the release of his film ‘King’ and opt for an Eid 2026 release.
On the work front, Alia has been busy with her next film ‘Jigraa’ and is currently shooting for ‘Alpha’. Meanwhile, Ranbir, has also been tied up working on director Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated ‘Ramayana’, while Vicky recently wrapped up shooting for the historical drama ‘Chhava’.
