Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal is delayed for two months due to THIS reason: Report | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

On Monday, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s house and that left fans excited about the development on ‘Love And War‘. This film was announced few months ago and sees Ranbir collaborating with Bhansali after about 18 years. It also sees Vicky Kaushal, apart from Alia and Ranbir. The film was supposed to kickstart by September 2024, but as per a new report, it has now been delayed by two months or more.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the shoot of the film has been pushed for about two months. It was touted to go on floors in September 2024 but due to severe rain in Mumbai, the film’s set was damaged which caused major construction delays. ‘Love And War’ may now begin rolling by the end of November or early December.
In this report, a source close to the production house said that once the construction of the set began, there was a halt due to rains earlier this month. However, Bhansali took this time and delay in his stride to further refine the script and focus on the film’s music. The film-maker is also planning additional workshops with the actor to further prepare for their roles.
Rumours were rife that ‘Love And War’ is the remake of Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Sangam’. But in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, SLB has clarified these rumours. He said, “You should not remake Sholay or Mother India. So, why would I remake Sangam?” He further added, “It’s a difficult film for me, so I’m being careful. I won’t take my actors, myself, or the audience for granted.”
