Salman Khan’s old dubsmash clip with Sonakshi Sinha cracks up the internet; fans say ‘Bollywood used to be so much fun’ – Times of India


There was a time when Salman Khan showcased his funny side with Sonakshi Sinha by doing a Dubsmash together, and the video of the duo is once again doing the rounds on the internet.
After years, the Dubsmash video of Salman and Sonakshi recreating a popular dialogue from ‘Mere Apne‘ is cracking up the internet. One Reddit user shared the video, saying, “Found this old video of Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, and I can’t stop laughing.”
The ‘Dabangg‘ stars were lip-syncing to an iconic ‘Shyam Kahan Hai’ scene from the 1971 movie ‘Mere Apne’.The original scene featured Vinod Khanna and Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha. While Khanna played Shyam, Sinha played Chenu.

In this new version by the actors, what stole the spotlight was the ‘Sultan‘ actor’s gestures. His hilarious expressions won over the internet, with one user writing, “Salman has that devilish look from ‘Kick’… It must have been around 2013 or early 2014. Good old days…” Another user reacted, “Bollywood used to be so much fun. Ab woh baat nahi rahi.” Finally, one shared, “Salman was so fit back then; no one can tell he was 49.”
Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha have shared the screen together in ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Dabangg 2’. Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for ‘Sikander‘, while Sonakshi will soon appear alongside her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal, in ‘Tu Hai Meri Kiran’.
