Salman Khan celebrates late Wajid Khan’s birthday and cuts a cake with Sajid Khan | Hindi Movie News – Times of India


Salman Khan celebrated the late music director Wajid Khan‘s birth anniversary with Sajid Ali Khan and close pals. On October 7, Wajid of the famous music duo Sajid-Wajid would have turned 47. Even though Wajid passed away in 2020, his memory continues to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Sajid-Wajid’s official Instagram shared a heartwarming video where Sajid can be seen cutting a chocolate cake alongside Salman Khan.The group sang “Happy Birthday Wajid” to honour the life of the cherished music director while Sajid offered Salman a piece of cake. The heartfelt caption with the video read, “Wajid u will and u r still alive in our hearts n in our everyday life yes I know u with me my love my prayers always find u @salmankhan @beingsalmankhan #brothers #love #prayer. (love) u bro.”

Salman had a long-standing professional association with the duo Sajid-Wajid, who composed the music for some of his most successful movies, such as Sultan, Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Dabangg, and Ek Tha Tiger. Salman Khan’s cinematic journey has been inextricably linked to their legendary soundtracks.
In an interview in 2021, Sajid talked candidly about doing work alone and coming to terms with Wajid’s passing. He talked about how hard it was to go on without his brother at his side, but he decided to put his focus on keeping close friendships with others in the industry, such as Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. Shortly after Wajid’s death, Sajid also shared a really touching moment when he composed music shortly after Wajid’s passing, saying, “I made my mother hear the song, and she started crying saying, ‘Yeh toh Wajid hai.’”
In the birthday post’s comment section, fans showered Salman and Sajid with heartfelt gratitude for preserving Wajid’s legacy.
