Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar went on floors in June this year and the team has been reportedly shooting for action sequences since then. However, making a shift in the mood, a vibrant number is in the works. According to mid-day, the song will feature 200 background dancers and portrays slum dwellers celebrating a festival. Rashmika reportedly joined the shoot on Thursday. In the number, Salman Khan will be dressed in a customized silver chain, earrings, a black vest, and a full-sleeved shirt paired with denims, while Rashmika will don a traditional salwar kameez. The report further stated that Murugadoss has almost completed filming the song and plans to move on to action scenes by the weekend.
The Mumbai schedule of Sikandar is expected to continue until October and the team will then travel to Europe to shoot for two more romantic songs. According to reports, the film features Salman Khan in the role of a businessman who is both a compassionate philanthropist and a former ‘Dabang’. Apart from the lead couple, Sikandar also reported features Sathyaraj and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles. Sikandar is all set to hit the screens during Eid in 2025.
Apart from this, Salman Khan will also be seen in Tiger versus Pathaan, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. The two Bollywood heavyweights are expected to deliver a box office bonanaza next year.
