With elections in Himachal now over, Congress is focusing on Gujarat. Over the next few weeks, several campaign rallies by prominent party leaders are scheduled in the poll-bound state.
Meanwhile, Congress has released its sixth list of candidates for Gujarat polls. With the release of this latest list, the party has now declared candidates for 142 seats in the state.
Congress had announced its first list on November 4, in which 43 candidates were named. The second list consisting of 46 candidates was announced on November 10. A list of seven candidates was released on Friday. However, one was a replacement for a candidate named earlier.
