Ever since ‘One Direction’ fame Liam Payne left the mortal world for a heavenly abode, his fans around the world have held on to the hope that the band comprising Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, will reunite in grief to give a heartfelt tribute to their fallen member. Reports surrounding the same have been doing rounds for quite some time now but nothing concrete was said in the context until recently.
Putting a rest to all speculations, a report by Radaronlin states that the band will be reuniting to offer a musical tribute to their late member at Liam’s funeral. This will be the first time that the band will come together since their split.
“A moving tribute at the service in the style of Elton John’s moving Candle in the Wind tribute at the funeral of Princess Diana,” said an insider sharing details on ‘One Direction’s reunion in the time of grief.
The insider added “But they are yet to send word of a musical farewell to their close pal and may opt to pay their respects alongside other members of the congregation.”
Further, reportedly Liam Payne’s funeral will be held on Friday, in his hometown of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands.
In addition to the band coming together for Liam’s funeral, reports suggest that there is a possibility of a ‘short reunion tour’ with Zayn, Harry, Niall, and Louis. These speculations started creating more buzz after Zayn cryptically shared posts that featured the 1D songs in the background.
“Members will do something to celebrate his life and pay tribute to him. I can’t see a full-scale tour, but I could see something along the lines of a show, a new track/ song,” said the insider.

For the unversed, the beloved musical artist Liam Payne fell from a hotel balcony in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires on October 16, according to the reports. His autopsy mentioned that he passed away due to multiple injuries from a fall. It also revealed Liam was under the influence.
