Man booked for pushing & tearing shirt of cop | Pune News – The Times of India


Pune: Vishrantwadi police have registered a case against a 30-year-old real estate agent from Yerawada for assaulting and using criminal force to deter a public servant from duty after he allegedly pushed a police constable and tore his uniform at Phulenagar off Pune-Alandi Road around 7.45pm on Monday.Police constable Ankush Kachi of Vishrantwadi police station later lodged a complaint against the real estate agent.According to the police, Kachi reached Phulenagar after receiving an emergency call which was made by his neighbour. Police said that the real estate agent was hurling abuses and creating a ruckus in the area. He was shouting at his mother and other relatives over family reasons.Kachi attempted to stop him when he pushed him and tore his uniform. Later, the real estate agent also issued threats of dire consequences to Kachi.The real estate agent was taken to the police station and a notice was served to him asking him to cooperate with the invstigations.
