Bollywood is bracing for a major box-office showdown this Diwali as Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the horror-comedy sequel, goes head-to-head with Rohit Shetty‘s high-octane cop action film Singham Again on November 1, 2024. Madhuri Dixit, who steps into the iconic role of Manjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, shared her thoughts on the impending clash.
Expressing confidence in the film, Madhuri told Pinkvilla, “It’s very hard to predict which film will run or not. But I know that we have made a good product.”
Madhuri emphasized that, despite the competition, the success would ultimately lie in the hands of the audience. “But we all have worked very hard. We’ve tried to make a very entertaining film, and right now my hope is, ‘I hope they like it,’” she added.
Reflecting on past box-office clashes, Madhuri recalled a similar instance with her films Dil and Beta, which both succeeded despite coinciding releases. “I think even in the past, I can’t remember Dil or Beta, 2 films had released at the same time, and similarly, like big star cast in both the movies and everything, and both movies did well. So you never know,” she shared.

“And it’s up to the audience; basically, they have to decide which one they have liked and which one they would like to see. And so the final test is in the theater; that’s where everything will happen. So we can only hope for the best, and we can only say, ‘We have a good product; please come and watch,’” she added.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 brings together an exciting cast, including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Triptii Dimri. Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, part of his Cop Universe, features Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
With both films generating tremendous anticipation, Bollywood fans are in for an electrifying Diwali at the cinemas.
