Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma wins NDTV’s ‘Global Entertainer Of The Year’ Award.Â
“Making people smile has become difficult now…but I feel a sense of belonging when I meet people, they feel like I am one of them,” said comedian Kapil Sharma while receiving the award.
Actor Rajkummar Rao wins NDTV’s ‘Actor Of The Year’ award. The award was presented by industialist Srikanth Bolla, who the actor played in biopic ‘Srikanth’.
Virologist Gagandeep Kang is NDTV’s ‘Health Leader Of The Year’.
“In India, we tend to borrow our solution from the west and what we have been doing in the last decade is to frame our questions on health in India and answer them,” said Gagandeep Kang while accepting NDTV’s ‘Health Leader Of The Year’ Award.

“Just this morning, I was informed a very large sports complex has come up in Ahmedabad. We will be producing many more olympians throuh that facility,” said Union Minister Piyush Goyal during his keynote address at NDTV ‘Indian Of The Year’ Awards.
Reminiscing about the days when she was filming a song, veteran actor Asha Parekh said, “I had a very bad allergy during the shoot of ‘Aaja Aaja’ song. But, I did go on the shoot and shot for the whole day.”
While talking about stardom at present time, she said, “There’s no privacy left.”
“I love Deepika Padukone very much, I like Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan,” she said while speaking about her favourite actors of the current generation.
