Lawyer warns celebrities connected to Sean ‘Diddy Combs’ ‘freak off’ parties | English Movie News – Times of India

With the news of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs being arrested on serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges in New York, attorney Tony Buzbee sent a message to all A-list stars connected to, or with knowledge of, the underground, official parties held by the music mogul, known as “Freak Offs.”. Recently, recent reports indicate that some celebrities either attending these functions or even knowing about them have been settling with the victims in secret to avoid having their names on the public documents and being linked to the scandal.
Speaking to TMZ, Buzbee said that he has been sending a flood of high-profile demand letters to celebrities who may have information regarding Diddy’s parties as a way of attempting to resolve matters privately before further legal action is taken. The lawyer noted that the celebrities, who know of illegal practices, such as using drugs in drinks to force someone to do something, or who happen to be at such places but don’t say anything, will suffer disastrous consequences.
Buzbee stressed that those that were at the parties, observers of the scandal, and even contributors to the cover-up risk exposure. He explained that celebrities that were involved or a witness to these events but remained silent also risked being prosecuted. The attorney maintained, “All of these people have exposure here. Who will be named, and when they will be named, all of that will come out in due course.”.
His strategy is to hold everyone accountable who was involved actively and passively in what was going on. Buzbee said his team is working very hard in gathering their facts and evidences, having already settled some of the cases with victims. And he said that this is usually the best time for them to settle this issue privately rather than suing in public since it can be resolved in a faster manner with minimal publicity.
But Buzbee also gave notice that if a few individuals, such as those who refuse to settle or cooperate, that those names will eventually come up during a court case that has been filed. He hinted that many celebrities in the public know are already contacted and settled. Those who do not cooperate may face legal action and will be exposed in the public eye.
This comes a month after Diddy was arrested and pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. In so many ways, the legal team still claims that Diddy is innocent, and he would not accept any plea deal. As the case continues to unfold, more details about those involved in these controversial parties may come to light.
