KKR vs PBKS, IPL 2022 Live Score :The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who beat the Punjab Kings (PBKS), by six wickets, were back in winning mode in the TATA Indian Premier League 2022.

Umesh Yadav ripped through PBKS’ batting line up with a stunning 4-wicket haul, before Andre Russell’s annihilating unbeaten score of 70 in just 31 deliveries propelled KKR into a commanding victory over PBKS.

The Kolkata Knight Riders won 138 but lost two wickets early. Odean Smith caught Ajinkya Rahane at the third man after she had reached the 4000 IPL runs milestone.

Harpreet Brar, inside the circle, dismissed Venkatesh to a sharp catch. Sam Billings was joined by skipper Shreyas Iyer, who was in solid touch and was working in boundaries.

KKR was 51-2 at the end powerplay before Rahul Chahar bowled a special two-wicket maiden to dismiss skipper Iyer (26 runs) and Nitish Rana (a second-ball duck).

After a quiet few overs, Andre Russell hit two huge sixes against Harpreet Brr to give KKR 17 runs in the 10 th innings.

Odean Smith bowled the 12th over and the Knight Riders scored 30 runs. Billings finished the over with a maximum on a free-hit. Russell hit three sixes, a four and one four.

Russell managed to reach the half-century mark in the next over after only five runs from the 13 th over by Rahulchahar. He also ended the Arshdeep Sing over with a slice of deep-cover for six.

The Knight Riders needed only 14 runs in the final six overs. Russell won the chase with consecutive sixes. He also remained undefeated on 70 deliveries, a dominant victory that saw him win with more than five overs remaining.

The Punjab Kings were placed in to bat first and made one change. Kagiso Racbada replaced Sandeep Singh in the eleven. Umesh Yadav showed his good form with the new ball, and dismissed Mayank Agarwal, the skipper of PBKS, for LBW in their opening over.

PBKS didn’t feel the pressure of an early wicket. Bhanuka Rajapaksa was running fast with three fours and three sixes before he was caught in the circle by Shivam Mavi’s bowling.

PBKS lost their third wicket with Shikhar Dhawan. He was caught behind for 16. The Punjab Kings were 62/3 at powerplay’s end.

After six overs, the Knight Riders added two wickets to their total.

After Livingstone was caught deep, Yadav took his second wicket. Narine then cleaned up Raj Bawa’s stumps in the next over.

After the first ten overs, PBKS was at 85/5. The pressure mounted on the batters and Shahrukh Khan was out for a duck in the 13 th Over, bowled off by Southee.

Yadav returned to bowl the final over of the innings and struck twice more. He then produced a double-wicket maiden that was enough to dismiss Rahul Chahar and Harpeet Brr. Brar was then cleaned up by the pacer. Chahar was however caught by the slip fielder.

Kagiso Rabada was run out by Odean Smith, who added 35 runs to the 9 th wicket. The Knight Riders took the last two wickets to bring PBKS down to 137. Southee caught Rabada in the deep and Arshdeep Singh was run out for 0.
