During a conversation at the News18 She Shakti 2024 event, Kirron Kher talked about her collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan on the 2007 film ‘Om Shanti Om’.The entire set was interesting, she said, and Shah Rukh was a superb co-star who worked with great passion and affection. She shared, “Itna maza aaya voh film karke (working on that film was a lot of fun). The whole set was so interesting. Shah Rukh was a wonderful co-star to work with. He used to work with love.”
She talked about her role in ‘Devdas’ as well, saying that the role was so great that she couldn’t turn down Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s film. Additionally, she was unable to decline offers from close friends Farah Khan and Yash Chopra. Kirron Kher said that after contributing to one commercial film, she was driven to collaborate on more. She thought working with Karan Johar was great fun and thoroughly appreciated the experience. “I enjoyed working on those films. I enjoyed working with Karan Johar. It was a lot of fun,” the veteran actress shared.
