Marvel fans are counting down the days for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, and its not hard to guess why. The film set to release in 2026, will bring back Robert Downey Jr to the MCU, not in his iconic role of Tony Stark/Iron Man, but as the supervillain Doctor Doom. Directed by the Russo Brothers, the fifth instalment in the ‘Avengers’ franchise, will bring together familiar heroes from the MCU and introduce new characters to face a catastrophic new threat. With a lot riding on this film, it is likely to dominate the global box office, and even rewrite records set by ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
