Kartik Aaryan is back as Rooh Baba, with the third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which is being directed by Anees Bazmee. The film also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, and Triptii Dimri in the lead.
Now ETimes has exclusively learnt that the film has been passed by the censors with a UA certificate and its run time in two hours and thirty eight minutes. As per sources, Kartik Aaryan plays a Baba in the film who has a knack for exorcism, but is actually a fraud, while Triptii Dimri plays Princess Meera who falls for Kartik’s tricks and seeks his help.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is clashing with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Singham at the box office. Addressing the class in an exclusive interview with ETimes, Kartik said “Yes we have a clash with a big film that has so many stars, and I’m a fan of them. Now both films are coming, and we will have to wait and see the result. I hope both work, and both films releasing is a good thing for the audience, as they have two options to watch . I think the clash was destiny.. I cannot do anything about it” he added.
The under 3 hour run time will go a long way in helping the film, as the distributors will be able to fit in more shows on a daily basis. The advance booking for the film is yet to open, as a tussle is going on between distributors and exhibitors over screen sharing between the two films.
