Harivanshrai Bachchan believed that his son Amitabh Bachchan was a reincarnation of his father: ‘Uske roop mein mere pitaji ki aatma aa rahi hai’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India


Amitabh Bachchan is known to stay extremely connected to his roots, culture and literature. More so, Hindi literature as his father Harivanshrai Bachchan was a renowned Hindi poet. Did you know that Harivanshrai Bachchan had got a dream which made him believe when his wife Teji Bachchan was pregnant that his father Pratap Narayan Shrivastav is coming again in the form of his son.
This information is revealed by Aamir Khan, who will be seen on the birthday special episode of Bachchan. In the recently released promo, one Aamir asking Big B, “Do you remember the day you were born?” He further stated that Bachchan’s father had written about his experience from the day he was born.
Aamir read from the book in Hindi, “When Teji woke me up and said that she is having labour pains, it was an auspicious timing. (Brahm-mahurat). I had a vivid dream and I was so amazed by it that I couldn’t stop myself from sharing it with Teji. In my half-sleep state, I told her, ‘Teji, you will have a boy and my father’s soul is coming in his form.”
Amitabh Bachchan was born to Harivanshrai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan on October 11, 1942. He has a sibling, Ajitabh Bachchan. Big B who later ended up becoming the biggest actor of the country, married Jaya Bachchan in 1973 and has two children – Abhishek and Shweta.
