Sayani Gupta is currently making headlines for her latest film, ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’, directed by Danish Aslam, which premiered on JioCinema on November 8.
Meanwhile, a video has been circulating online featuring Sayani sharing a story about accidentally ruining a pair of designer shoes worth Rs 3.5 lakhs and how Shah Rukh Khan came to her rescue by covering the cost. However, there’s a twist, Sayani revealed that the entire scenario was just a dream and didn’t actually happen!
In a viral video posted by Filmygyan on Instagram, Sayani Gupta recounted a moment when she accidentally damaged a pair of designer shoes. She explained that there were two pairs, both made of paper, and her friends encouraged her to try them on.
Following their suggestion, she put on one of the shoes but found herself unable to stand properly. Sayani described how she had to brace herself against a wall for support, as the paper construction couldn’t bear her weight. As soon as she tried to walk, the shoe gave way and broke.
Sayani went on to say that she was asked to cover the cost of the shoes, which left her extremely stressed, as she couldn’t afford the Rs 3.5 lakh price tag.
The ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ actress then shared that the following day, she was informed that Shah Rukh Khan had paid for the shoes. Confused, she asked for clarification and was told that he had purchased many items and this was just a minor expense for him. However, it turns out that Sayani was actually recounting a recent dream, not a real-life event, as revealed in the full interview, though only a brief portion of her conversation was shown in the video clip.
Meanwhile, Sayani’s ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’, written and directed by Danish Aslam, also Prateik Babbar and Kubbra Sait in pivotal roles.
