The two-year-old video showcased Dhvani singing her hit song Vaaste when Farah tapped her on the back, whispering, “Chup hoja” (stop singing). The clip quickly became a target for trolls who criticized Dhvani’s impromptu performance.
The singer has now taken a lighthearted approach to the incident by recreating the viral moment with Farah in a new video. This time, Dhvani can be seen singing the classic song Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh in her signature style.
As she enjoys the moment, Farah walks into the frame and taps her on the shoulder again. But instead of stopping her, Farah smiles, hugs Dhvani, and says, “She is actually singing very well. So the only pat she is going to get is this,” before giving Dhvani a kiss on the cheek. Dhvani then proudly declares, “Pat on my back. Farah Khan approved.”
Meanwhile, Dhvani is making her acting debut with the upcoming film Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam. A few days ago, she had shared that her portrayal of the role Meera has been inspired by Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s iconic character Geet from Jab We Met.
Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam’ features Aashim Gulati in the lead role. The film directed by Saurabh Dasgupta, produced by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited and Kathputli Creations, ‘Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam’ is set to debut in theatres on September 20.
