‘Devara’ box office collection day 14: The Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor starrer makes Rs 3.50 crore on Thursday, will now face competition from ‘Jigra’, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Devara Part 1′ has been enjoying its undivided share at the box office, ever since it release on September 27. There was no other big release apart from ‘Joker 2’ which released a few days ago. The Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan starrer, has bene doing a decent business, especialyl in Hindi, with its own share of gradual drop over the past few days. However, it looks like the film will further see a downward curve with two other movies releasing today.
‘Devara’ made around Rs 4 crore on Wednesday, while on Thursday, the movie has made around Rs 3.50 crore in all languages combined. The total collection of ‘Devara’ now stands at Rs 260.90 crore in India, in all languages. The movie has released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam. Kannada, and Tamil. Of which, the Telugu version has fared the best, with Hindi version on number 2.
It’s also the Navratri fever which has led to the drop in numbers and it now looks difficult for the movie to cross Rs 300 crore at the box office. Meanwhile, ‘Jigra‘ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video‘ are releasing on Friday, October 11. Both these movies are having a decent advance booking and are expected to pose as competition to ‘Devara’. Both these movies are expected to open at Rs 4.5 to 5 crore respectively, depending on the advance booking. This number may change largely, depending on the current bookings of the movie.
Apart from that, Rajinikanth’s movie ‘Vettaiyan’ is dominating at the box office in the south regions.
